Life is so unfair
to have to spend it in a chair.
My body receives it from my mind,
and it is the motions that I cannot find.
To help me with everyday task,
for this I have to ask.
I am a prisoner in this shell;
on some days it makes me feel like I'm in Hell.
Please have no sorrow for me,
because inside I am filled with glee.
My disability has nothing to do with my abilities.
Some people see disability as an inferiority,
but all it does is make me a minority.
