A number of landing fields were flooded and work had to be halted at the Lockheed plant in Burbank. Here a sign indicates the road is closed, but cars are traveling nevertheless.

Celebrating Olvera Street one of the oldest streets in Los Angeles. The world-famous Mexican Marketplace first opened to the public in the 1930. Olvera Street is in the oldest part of Downtown Los Angeles and is part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument.
